A solo founder directs a fleet of coding agents
The Codex-and-Claude development fleet was checked with negative controls and mutation tests. Alongside the software, Gewerkton has assembled a media bank of more than 51 self-produced clips and posters.
Gewerkton is a voice-first construction documentation and defect management platform for global markets. Born in the German market, it combines deep German commercial integration with multilingual workflows and a choice of regional AI providers. The product is in beta now, with a public beta planned for fall 2026.
The platform is organised into three product lines under one brand: Gewerkton Field for work at the construction site, Gewerkton Studio for plans and models in the browser, and Gewerkton Cloud for operations and data coordination. Voice first, but not voice only
Gewerkton’s central interface begins with dictation. In Field, spoken input can be turned into evidence, defects, daywork reports, takt information and portal records. That focus reflects a practical construction setting in which people may be moving between work areas, dealing with several trades or recording events as they happen.
The line behind the product is: “On site, what counts is what’s proven.” The emphasis is therefore not simply on making voice input convenient. It is on connecting what was said or observed with the documentation that a project team needs to retain and coordinate.
Gewerkton Field is the voice-first construction site app. Its scope includes dictation to evidence, defects, daywork reports, takt and a portal. On housing and building projects, that can mean recording defects with a photo and deadline, dictating daywork reports, and collecting a signature on the device during handover.
For infrastructure and tunnel projects, where work can continue over long periods and generate many change orders, instructions can be backed by the original audio. On cross-border projects, teams in different regions can work in their own languages while the evidence original remains unambiguous.

Plans and models in the browser
The second product line moves the workflow from the site into a browser-based project environment. Gewerkton Studio is the workspace for plans and models. Where no model exists, the site team can create one directly in the browser.
That distinction matters across the range of projects Gewerkton is designed to serve. A wind farm, housing development, industrial plant or tunnel does not necessarily begin with the same information structure. Studio is intended to provide a shared workspace for plans and models without assuming that every project already has a model ready to use.
The third line, Gewerkton Cloud, handles operations and model or data coordination between Field, Studio and third parties. Data residency is offered as a choice: customers can use an EU cloud or their own infrastructure.
This gives the three lines distinct roles. Field captures and handles site activity, Studio provides the browser workspace, and Cloud coordinates operations and information across the platform and external parties. All three remain part of the same beta-stage product rather than separate brands.

German commercial depth, global scope
Gewerkton was born in the German market and claims its deepest commercial integration there, covering GAEB, REB, XRechnung and DATEV. At the same time, the platform is being built for projects that cross countries, languages and data regions.
It supports 27 content languages. The intended deployment range includes European, US and APAC teams working on the same project, with each person using their own language. For projects in Asia, the stated scope includes Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese crews, with multilingual handling from initial capture through to the resulting report.

Language support is paired with regional AI-provider choice. Gewerkton’s bring-your-own-AI approach covers 13 providers, allows organisations to use their own keys and lets them select a region. The available provider regions span the EU, the US and Asia, including mainland China. The aim is to avoid dependence on a single AI vendor while allowing data location and provider choice to follow project requirements.
The platform’s AI layer should not be confused with its deployment status. Gewerkton is in beta now. Its public beta is planned for fall 2026. The current release should therefore be read as an active beta across Field, Studio and Cloud, not as a finished general-availability launch.

Designed for varied construction environments

What is available now, and what comes next
What ships now is a beta platform spanning Field, Studio and Cloud. Field covers voice-led site capture and reporting. Studio provides the browser workspace for plans and models, including browser-based model creation when no model exists. Cloud coordinates operations and model or data exchange between the other two product lines and third parties.
The commercial integration includes GAEB, REB, XRechnung and DATEV. Deployment can use an EU cloud or the organisation’s own infrastructure.
What has not happened yet is the public-beta opening. Gewerkton remains in beta, and the public beta is planned for fall 2026. That makes this a launch into testing and expansion rather than a claim that every part of the platform has reached its final form.
Even at this stage, the shape of the product is clear. Gewerkton is bringing spoken site information, plans, models, operational coordination and regional AI choice into one platform for projects ranging from housing and tunnels to wind farms and data centres. Its proposition is grounded in a familiar construction reality: the value of an observation or instruction ultimately depends on how well it can be captured, retained and connected to the work.
